“ Venue goes above and beyond for couple and work so well with suppliers. From the moment I stepped onto the estate I was greeted and made so welcomed. The professionalism but also feeling like the staff are down to earth makes this venue stand out. Attention the day and setting is something I've never seen before at a wedding venue. From Stella the wedding cheerleader of the day to photo opertunities everywhere. A place I really do look forward to be back at and a venue I wish I knew about when I got married ! They go above and beyond. ”

“ This place is a wee hide secret if you do not know it. The food and ambience is wonderfully. Pay a visit if you are out and about on a drive and enjoy this around ding areas and the quality this restaurant deliver. Oh there a wee shop too and dogs are welcome. ”
“ Very nice place. Staff are absolutely fantastic. Food is tasty. Prices same as everywhere else. Jacket potato skins are very crispy (which I preffer) but could do with a pizza/steak knife rather than a standard one to cut them up. It can get very busy over the weekends around lunchtime so you have to be prepared to wait for a table. Staff are very good at clearing the tables though, but at the same time they're not rushing anyone to leave - one of these things that will keep us coming back. Even though the restaurant gets very busy and noisy (in a good way) and the tables are quite close together it doesn't feel cramped and you don't feel you have to shout for your friends at the table to hear you - it may have something to do with good acoustics of this place? It feels very comfortable. Very good selection of cakes, including some Gluten Free, and a good choice of food from the menu. Mainly for meat eaters and vegetarians rather than vegans or GF, but the staff are more than happy to accommodate to your needs. Toilets could do with a hook to hang your jacket on. Gift shop sells a lot of different things, clothes, jewellery, toys, etc. This weekend (24/25 Nov) there was a Christmas fayre on. There was a really good turnout with quite few stalls selling handmade jewellery, cards, sweets, etc. There's a play area and a Gorge Walk nearby. It's very manageable, just over a mile long, with a big part of it sheltered by the trees. Some impressive views down the Dippol Burn. You can also find and enjoy other walks, cliffs and caves in the area. You can't however enter the restaurant with your muddy boots on. You might want to bring a pair to change into after the walk. On the whole a very lovely place and definitely one of my favourites ”
“ Really nice cafe fireplace and dog friendly at the front entrance only but I thought that was better to sit with the fireplace. Cakes are really nice. Small park for the kids which they loved. Something different and not a far drive if you’re in Ayrshire. ”
“ We stopped for coffee and a cake travelling home and certainly wasn’t disappointed. The mocha was delicious and hot and the cakes were even better. The highland cows were a massive bonus as I’m a huge fan. Definitely be back ”
“ An excellent Farm shop and gift shop and a lovely cafe/restaurant that cooks lots of home made cakes, scones and other home made produce in there kitchens. It is stylish, clean and comfortable and the warm friendly staff are excellent. It was originally built in 1760 and was the centre of all the Boswell farming activities, the coffee shop was a grain store, the front hall was the stables, and the coaches were where the gift shop is now. ”
